The Secondary Education for Human Capital Competitiveness (SE4HC) Project is an $83.92 million initiative funded by the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Cambodia to strengthen Cambodia’s secondary education system. The project aims to improve access to quality upper secondary education, enhance alignment with 21st-century skills, and strengthen post-secondary education pathways.

Which schools are included in the project?
The project covers 259 public secondary schools and General Technical High Schools across Cambodia, focusing on underserved areas and schools that need infrastructure improvements. Additionally, the project involves teacher training institutions including NIE, ITC, and three Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs).

The SE4HC project has four main outputs:
